Sandy Carter-Front Desk
Sandy has over 30 years of dancing and teaching behind her and currently works as a Sales Representative during the day at the Kentucky Lottery. Sandy was a former Patsy Bloor dancer and spent many years with the USO entertaining troops. She is delighted to see her daughters, Tonya &Brittany’s accomplishments and enjoys helping them by assisting at the front desk. Sandy has 4 beautiful grandchildren and resides inLouisville,KY with her husband.

Rachel Cahayla-Wynne -Ballet Instructor
Originally from New Jersey, Rachel is currently a dancer with the Louisville Ballet. Before becoming a professional dancer Rachel studied with Irine Fokine at the Irine Fokine School of Ballet and continued her training at the University of Cincinnati’s College- Conservatory of Music, where she earned her BFA. Rachel has danced lead roles in ballets such as Serenade, Paquita, and La Bayadere, and has also performed with Dayton Ballet, Staten Island Ballet, and Ballet China New York.

Joshua D. Clauser- Instructor/Choreographer
Originally from Fort Wayne,IN Joshua D. Clauser now resides inLouisville,KY. Josh first started out at Tiffany & Co. Studio of Dance where he was taught the basics in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and lyrical. While in Fort Wayne, Josh was able to use his dance training to work with area high school dance teams and also work with the Indiana Pacers dance team; The Pacemates. Before leaving Tiffany & Co. Josh was named Dancer of the Year, and named Mr. Showbiz by Showbiz National Dance Competition. After leavingFort Wayne, Josh began his professional dancing career by working for Paramount Pictures. While working under Paramount Pictures Josh worked for theme parks such asKingsIsland, cruise ships, and choreographed a music video for an R&B group The Presidentz. Josh went on to work for several dinner theaters and stage productions in and around the Mid-West which include West Side Story, The Pajama Game, Howl at the Moon, and White Christmas. After settling in Louisville Josh has continued his dancing career by working with area dance studios, high school dance teams, and gymnastic studios bringing his unique style of dancing and technique wherever he goes. Josh is also the head choreographer for IUS college dance team. Josh has been traveling the country working with Applause National Dance Competition as a judge. When he isn’t dancing, performing, or traveling Josh works full time for University of Louisville Hospital as the Laboratory Administrative Assistant and he’s also enrolled in school full time where he’s going to school for Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare.

Shauna Cowherd-Instructor/Choreographer
Shauna is a native of Louisville,KY and has been dancing for over 16 years. Shauna’s trained at Dale Meyer School of Dance, 360 Dance and is a graduate of the Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS),Louisville,KY, in the discipline of dance. She attendedNorthernKentuckyUniversity where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with an Emphasis in Dance degree in May 2010. Shauna was a member of theNorthernKentuckyUniversity’s Dance Tour Troupe for 3 years and has performed in numerous dance and stage productions during her studies at Northern. Once of the most notable was being a member of the original performance piece “When Winter Come: The Choreopoem”. Shauna has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, liturgical, hip-hop, modern and improvisation as well as developing experience in choreography. Shauna is very eager and enthusiastic to continue her dance journey and is extremely pleased to be a member of the Dreamz Dance Company family!

Kelsi Craine - Ballet Instructor
Kelsi is originally from Fort Smith,Arkansas and has over 10 years of dance experience. She is currently attendingSullivanUniversity and will be majoring in Early Childhood Education. Kelsi studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern and pointe at Fort Smith School of Ballet inArkansas for 10 years. She also attended Tulsa Ballets’ Summer Camp Pointe to the Future in 2002 and Jazz Dance World Congress inChicago in 2007 where she studied under Joe Tremaine, Randy Duncan, Nan Giordano, and Liz Imperio. Kelsi is very passionate about dance and is super excited about being a member of the Dreamz family!!

Kathleen Guerrero-Instructor/Choreographer
Kathleen has been dancing for over 15 years. She has been teaching at Dreamz for 3 years starting out as a student instructor. She has competed on numerous competitive teams. Kathleen was also a member of the Sacred Heart Academy Dance Team, where they won their first state title and were nationally ranked. She is excited to be working at Dreamz again this year and cannot wait to see all of the new talent she will be privileged to work with. Kathleen attends the University ofLouisville where she will be majoring in early childhood development.

Madison McCormick-Instructor/Choreographer
Madison has been dancing for over 15 years and is currently aUniversity ofLouisville Ladybird. She was a Radio Disney Dancer and has danced on countless studio teams, winning many competitions and going to the World Championships. She was also onSacredHeartAcademy's state winning high school team for four years. Currently, she is attending theUniversity ofLouisville as an engineering student. She had taken various styles of dance including jazz, ballet, tap, technique, hip hop, lyrical and modern. Dance isMadison's passion and she plans to dance for the rest of her life!

Elle Smith-Instructor/Choreographer
Elle has over 7 years dance experience and is currently a University ofLouisville Ladybird. Elle has danced for 360 Dance,BarretTraditionalMiddle School, and the 2009 State Grand Champion Sacred Heart Academy Dance Team. She has been on winning all-star teams that have gone to the World Championships. Elle has been teaching for 4 years starting out as an assistant instructor. Elle's favorite styles are Hip-hop and contemporary jazz. She recently was asked to assistL.A. choreographer Leslie Scott as she taught master classes at UDA Dance camps. Elle is a sophomore at theUniversity ofLouisville and is very excited to further her dance career at Dreamz!!!! ; )

Becca Voss-Instructor/Choreographer
Becca has been dancing for 11 years. As a child she danced at Dale Meyer School of Dance, 360 and Dreamz. She attended University ofKentucky for 2 years and was a member ofUK’s Dance Ensemble where she danced and choreographed. Currently she has decided to come back home where she will attend theUniversity ofLouisville as a communication major. She is super excited to join the Dreamz family and to further her teaching and choreographing dream!

Leigh Anne Albrechta-Ballet Instructor
Born and raised in Fremont,Ohio where Leigh Anne’s ballet training began with The Fremont Ballet at the age of three. Leigh Ann then continued her training at Ballet Theatre of Toledo until the age of sixteen when she was accepted to attend The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in Torrington,CT on scholarship. After graduating from Nutmeg Leigh Ann danced for North Carolina Dance Theatre for two years where she spend her first year as a trainee and second year as an apprentice during which time she received opportunities to dance with another company. Currently Leigh Anne is in her third season with the Louisville Ballet. In addition to dance she also currently received her teacher training certificate for yoga at Core Power Yoga in Denver,Co. Leigh Anne is very excited to be teaching both ballet and yoga.
