Studio Dress Code

RULES AND GUIDELINES

OBSERVATION:  In order to maintain class structure and discipline, parent observation is limited to the viewing window in the waiting room.  Blinds will be open at the instructor’s discretion.  No parents or siblings are allowed in the class unless an instructor invites them in to watch.  PLEASE DO NOT OPEN A CLASSROOM DOOR WHILE INSTRUCTION IS IN PROGRESS AS THIS DISTRACTS THE CHILDREN AND INSTRUCTOR.  If you need assistance, please ask the front desk attendant.

COMMUNICATION:  In order to maintain a strict time schedule, if you have questions regarding your child’s class; please address the individual instructor by phone or email.

CLASS ATTENDANCE:  All students are expected to attend class on a regular basis, on time with correct attire.  Please contact the studio if you are going to miss a class or have missed a class within 24 hours.  If a student misses 2 classes in a month, they have lost 50% of their training for that month.  Three un-excused absences in a 5 week period will result in a student being dropped from the roster.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:  We follow the Jefferson County Public Schools.  If JCPS cancels school or let’s school out early, all classes will be cancelled.  Check your local tv stations for closings.  If you are still unclear and are unable to reach us at the studio, call 502-500-4845.

DANCE ROOMS:  No jewelry (except small post earrings), gum, food or drinks (except water) are permitted in class.  Please do not bring personal items to the studio.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. 

TIMELINESS:  Students are expected to arrive at the studio on time and ready to dance.  Please be prompt in picking up your child after class.  We cannot be responsible for watching your child after class.
