Dreamz Dance Company offers a wide variety of dance at a very competitive price.  Your child can expect to get a well-rounded experience in all styles of dance.  We offer a complete curriculum for beginners through advanced level.

Class Descriptions

TECHNIQUE:  Provides strength building, flexibility and proper body and arm placement to achieve their highest potential on turns and leaps.  This class also provides combinations of jazz and technique to build a higher level of stamina.  This class has different levels which will be determined by the instructor.  Ages 7 and up.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING: A high-intensity one hour workout including cardio, pilates, and all over body strengthening.  Students will learn safe and appropriate ways to stay fit and build muscle.

JAZZ:  This class can be upbeat or contemporary providing many styles that may include musical theatre and pop.  Ages 3 and up.

MUSICAL THEATER:  This class will teach you how to bring a character to life with songs from Broadway and Stage shows using technique and dance skills.  Ages 7 and up.

TAP:  Rhythmic skills are developed as tap feet become percussive instruments.  Strength and control of legs, ankles, and feet are increased.  Ages 3 and up.

BALLET:  Poise, posture, balance and flexibility.  Dancers of all styles benefit from regular training in this classical form.  Focusing on arm, body and feet placement.  Ages 5 and up.

HIP-HOP:  Energetic, freestyle form evolved from break and street dancing that you see in music videos.  Ages 7 and up.

LYRICAL:  A challenging fusion of jazz and ballet.  Choreography is often characterized by gripping emotion and/or storytelling.  Lyrical students will be working at an intermediate or higher level of ballet.  Ages 11 and up.

*New Ballroom:  Styles include Fox Trot, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Jive, American & Argentine Tango, Samba, Merengue, Mombo, Cha Cha, East & West Coast Swing, Pasodoble & Rumba.  Ages 5 to Adult Available.

 PAYMENT INFORMATION

Registration Fee

Each student is required to pay an annual registration fee of $35.00 per family.  This fee is due at registration or prior to your first class.  Registration fees will be pro-rated after March 1st to $25.00 per family and after June 1st to $10.00 per family. 

Rules Regarding Payment

Payments for monthly classes and private lessons are to be paid in advance and  are due upon the 1st of each month.  There will be a 7 day grace period; thereafter, a $10 late fee per month, will be applied to outstanding accounts.  Any account that is 45 days past due (i.e. monthly class fees, competition fees, costume fees, recital fees, etc.) will result in student(s) being dropped from the roll and not be allowed to participate in dance classes until he/she has paid in full.  Tuition is based on a season total not weeks in a month.  Your monthly tuition will be the same regardless of Holidays unless otherwise notified.  Vacations do not change when your payment is due.  If necessary please mail your payment to: Dreamz Dance Company - 8603 Citadel Way Suite 103 - Louisville, KY 40220. 

PAYMENT METHODS

Cash and checks are acceptable forms of payment.  All checks should be made out to Dreamz Dance Company.  There will be a $25 insufficient check fee for all returned checks.

FAMILY DISCOUNTS

A family discount of 10% will be given off the combined hours of all dancers within the family..

ADDITIONAL COST

Any dancer participating in the end of the year Dreamz showcase, regional or national teams will be required to purchase a costume and accessories including but not limited to: shoes, tights, gloves and rhinestones.  Other fees may include recital fees, coaching fees (additional preparation for competition), choreography fees (solos, duets and trios), convention fees (taught by leading choreographers and dancers throughout the U.S.) and competition fees (regional and national competition).  Due dates and amounts of these payments will be posted on the monthly calendar board in the lobby.  Late fees will apply to these payments.

REFUNDS

There will be NO REFUNDS on any payment made to DREAMZ DANCE COMPANY.  Competitions that are cancelled will be the exception. 

PRORATIONS

Dancers who start after the beginning of the month will be prorated based on how many classes are available during the month.  The office staff will assist you in determining the reduced fee.  Missed classes are not eligible to be prorated.
